POLICIES

Thank you!

  • In order to maintain efficient & to keep your dogs happy & healthy we require all clients to be on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, 6 week or 8 week schedule.

  • 70lb. weight limit

  • Paws & Relax requires at least 24 hour notice to cancel or change an appointment. Failure to give at least 24 hour notice prior to scheduled appointment time will be noted. Appointments scheduled thereafter will require the groom to be paid in advance over the phone in order to reserve a grooming time. If subsequent appointments result in a no-show or cancellation without 24 hour notice, the groom fee paid in advance is nonrefundable.

  • Any dog found with fleas will be required to have a flea bath & be charged $10. 

  • Key service is available if you would like to leave a key or code with us, so we can come by while you are away & come home to a clean happy dog! First time appointments require owner to be present.

  • Matted dogs will be assessed by the groomer & will only be dematted if they can humanely be brushed out. Dematting fees will be applied.  If not, they will need to be taken down to a short length all over. Should your dogs coat need to be shaved down before the bath a $20 fee will apply. 

 

  • Payment is due at the end of each appointment. We accept cash, check or all major credit card.  A $35 fee will be charged for non sufficient/returned checks.

  • We don't answer phone calls while working on dogs or driving. For fastest response please text us 805.552.6122

  • There are no refunds for services rendered. Please contact us within 48 hours (call, text or email!) if you have questions regarding your dogs groom.

 

  • Our insurance prohibits allowing anyone aside from the groomer inside the salon.

  • We do not groom any sedated dogs. If we are unable to groom your dog on the day of appointment, a $35 trip fee will be charged.

  • We do not offer ear hair plucking. If your dog needs this done, please see your veterinarian. 

  • We schedule appointments from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
